before you start build a canon you should know how all this thing work
you can search the forum how to , to get some idea

here you can see how the piston valve works

and here you can see how to build one

I went there before, but im not sure if my piston would work. If the air that comes in seals the barrel and fills the chamber, and the piston gets pushed back when the pressure is released, will it work?

Check my diagram and see whether its right, thanks.

I build this adapter for one of my guns and it works great.
This way you can use a bike pump or a compressor.

It's a quick connector to 1/2" male. I drilled a hole into the 1/2" end cap and put the shrader trough it. The base of the shrader is rubber so that the pressure push against it and seals.

Oh so no permanent fixing of the shrader is required, thanks!
I've seen your how-to on the piston valve for copper fittings, and wondered if you would have comments on the different piston that i use?

could i pm you to discuss some things? or use msn?

Thanks!
