Now it´s time again.
It all began with me finding a one way-valve while taking an old compressor apart. I Looked at it, and saw the possibility to make a hammer activated valve-gun!

Its quite "the wild west"-inspired, and you reload it by doing that fancy moves with the long reload-lever (please fill me in with the accurate work for it)
The lever movement both loads the striking hammer, and a new bullet in the barrel!

edit: underlever! yeeehaaaaw!

Well you see the result below.
Some quickspecs:
Ammo: steel balls; 8mm Hardened, tempered coal steel.
Airsource: One large compressor (that works)
mag capacity: 5bullets
ROF: well; how fast can you swing your arm?

spare me the comments about the short barrel; i´m not in for the accuracy anyway.

And I´ve put up a picture showing every single detail and part of the gun, it ought to be quite selfexplaining.

I see you use the same type of one way we have over here. How did you seal the "hammer-pin" entry in the valve? I can just make out a greyish looking thing that perhaps could answer the question.

I assume the output of the valve is where there originally sit a burst disk. Really clever!

Have you considered turning the valve 90degrees, and get rid of a bit of dead space? (Connecting barrel directly)

Also, how is performance? Shot per fill and power?

Edit: Ah, I see you don't have a onboard chamber.

The Gun is connected directly to a air source, therefore there is a little interest in counting the shots per fill.

concerning the valves direction, if i turn it, i have to have the hammer on the side, which is ugly looking, and also; its a bit to late to turn anything. It´s suppa-glued in place to secure a leak free construction.

when the hammer pin it hit, a o-ring is pushed against the seat of the hammer pin; making a airtight fit. The grey-ish thing is cross armed PVC-pipe.

Looks like something you would build in Fallout 3 (haven't tried it, you should...great game). With that said, I really like this.

Scheisse! That hammer pin can't travel very far then, does it?
An explanation how the reloading mechanism works would be great, lever action is probably the coolest action ever 8)

the power is OK, not impressive, but OK. Fun to shoot with!

yes; it might look a bit scrap-yard-designed, but I build all parts from scratch, including the hammer, and everything. With rather simple tools I might add. So the rough look comes with the price.

Winchester would be proud! Looking like something from the 1800's with the big looped lever. Very nicely done, I'm looking forward to the video.
