here are my latest inventions ,the first one being a barrel sealing piston valve, the piston is housed in a 1'' brass threaded tee and is made from solid alunimium using a neoprene sealing face, it fills via quick connect and it shoots marbles out of a 3/4 copper barrel and is piloted by a 1'' modded sprinkler valve.

all shoots were done at 80-100 psi

the second one is called jnr and its a chamber sealing piston valve, made from a mini cistern cock ,the piston is solid brass used from the shaft on the cock with a neoprene sealing face which is piloted by a blow gun and fills via quick connect ,the barrel is aluminium tubing approximatly 5.5mm diameter with an internal bore of about 4mm

How much easier to hold a ruler to it after you "Yanked it like a monkey in a mango tree"First one to name the show gets a cookie.

Cannon size doesn't really matter, some of the largest cannons on here are far from the most powerful.

ahhhhh those were the days ,it reminds me of when i was in yr7,lol

i never mentioned power! how about distance ?? which is more on topic atm, considering a larger heavier projectile will travel further than a small /lighter one

A smaller projectile will have less drag, so not exactly.

Density is the big thing (cross sectional mainly) for penetration and range.
