Its not really worth the effort to stay adding epoxy for such a small leak. I will just remove the tube add moe teflon tape and screw it in again.

For all those interested the E-444 is getting some improvements. Mainly a stock.

Its is similar to the the barett's stock only curvier. To find the right position to mount the grip and butt, I found the point of equilibrium of the gun by balancing it on a a broomstick, then I marked this point, luckily it ended up exactly under the front reducer where the scope is mounted. I did this to make the gun more balanced and therfore more "pointable".
I measured the distance from my hand to my shoulder when my elbow is at around 60 degrees to give me the length of the stock and position of the recess. I marked this on the gun also.
Next I made a rough sketch of the design and proportioned it accordingly with the previous measurements. I drew it up on card and cut it out.
I am now going to use this cutout as a template cutout the same shape in two pieces of heavy plywood, which I will glue togheter later. I will then sand down the sharp edges and maybe give it a coat of white spray paint, to act as an undercoat for a later paintjob.

Once the stock is done I am going to make the Bi-pod shown whose legs can swivel on the tee junction, this way it will fold up and down.

If you are wondering why I am putting so much effort into such a simple cannon, you just have to hold and fire it. The weight of it feels cool, and when your aiming down the sight it feels like you can really make a 200 yard head shot!

I know this is a old post but, You cant critize someone's work unless you make one, he tried to make it look like it, there is a thing called construtive critism(spellng) you could have said that a different way. Anyways nice gun, and I love the Barret too.

no, that not the right reason why they use floating barrels.
a barrel vibrates. when you have a floating barrel the barrel vi berates every time the same way so the bullet will shoot every time the same way.

greats.

ps it look coowl. but make the handle, bipot and stuff

I love the "sniper view" it looks like a real Barett

I'd use a Saddle Tee with a Tee and 2 45's for the bipod...

The grip could be made out of a Saddle Tee also...

I want a m82A1A so bad, I might buy a paintball sniper and and mod it to use air and get dummy .50 bullets. That would be sweetas hell.

You seem to know a lot about the Barret. What is more powerful, the Supermagnum or the Barret?

I think he was thinking about the AW-50, which is the .50 cal version of Accuracy International's sniper.
Frankly from what I've heard the Barrett is not that good of a weapon, pro snipers actually preferring the Arctic Warfare. Then again, I haven't been up-to-date with news in the field for 2 years now.
Speaking of .50 BMG, why not the Hecate II ?

I wonder why the Barrett isn't that great of a weapon.
