Remember my old thread? well this gun is the new version of it. I went to home depot and got a 2x6(not sure what type of wood it is), then i printed out an outline of a drawing of the stock on MS Paint, then i got to work to make it happen. After about 3-4 hours, this is the result. I stained it with some miniwax red mohogany #225 stain. It utilizes an empty co2 cartridge as the air chamber, shraeder valve to fill it, ball valve as the firing valve(it will soon be a QEV), and right now i run it on 125 psi(highest my bike pump and air tank can go to). I will also get a nice shock pump for it soon, to unleash its full potential. It is an all metal construction. Any questions just ask!

Seriously tone it down with the double posts, the mods kill for that. Anyway, the stock seems very... ummm... don't know the word... compacted? Squished? Is that the way you intended or simple a trick of the image? Anyway I still think its a sick gun, nice work, expect performace gains of 10x once you get that shocky and the QEV
Cheers.

I like the stocks compact look, and gun freak you kept bumping up and double posting in your supernova thread, by the way what tools did you use to cut out the stock

Thanks guys! and double posting is a VERY bad habit i have lol. ive done it on this site for years haha. but it is supposed to be compact like that. since the guns internals/barrel are pretty small, i also wanted the stock to be like that. the stock is 1 foot in legnth, as well as the barrel. and to cut out the stock i used a Power saw, hack saw, rip saw, Rasps, files, and a bit of sandpaper, pretty basic tools. I cut out the rough shape with the powersaw, then moved on to cutting it out a little more with a ripsaw, then some of the bigger curves with the hacksaw, then for all the bends/curvs i used a rasp to carve them out, then filed it and sanded it, then just stained it.

And you still have more tools than me, I have a hack saw, hand saw, rasp set, drill, and a dremal

Lol i just use my dads tools. In our garage we have about 4 toolboxes full of hand tools, 1 big tool drawers full of tools, dremel, 2 powerdrills, powersaw, hand saws, hack saws, rip saws, jig saws, and alot more lol. Now all i need to do with the gun is extend the ball valves handle down about an inch or 2 so i can reach it with my finger better so i can pull the handle with my finger just like pulling a trigger of a firearm.

Are you using the same Bv to pilot the QEV when you get it? I think you should go with a blowgun to get the trigger feel that you're "aiming" for

Ball valves can be used as trigger hed just have to reposition it, look at BTBs guns

I know that lol, I said to use a blowgun for the trigger feel.

That'd be pine.

Nice build though. I'm looking forward to seeing it in its final stages.

I know thats why I said look at BTBs his have a trigger feel, better than a blow gun, those make the trigger feel like its upside down

Ah yes I know what your talking about now. But about the upside down part... it is the right way.

no, if the 1/4 end goes to a air compressor the trigger feels upside down
Edit-wain im thinking of a BBMG, not pilot valve

Umm... dont go with a QEV. spring load that ball valve and run her at high pressure.. after you get your shock pump i mean.
