Yeah kinda does lol. BTW to get the stock design, i found a picture of a BSA Ultra .177 cal, copied it to MS paint, cut out everything but the stock, blew it up, then made it more compact, then transferred it over to wood. So this is basically a BSA ultra compact lol.

I probably will extend the barrel another 6 inches, i just have to wait till i can go to home depot again lol. so far the barrel is a foot long, but its an over/under so only half the barrel is extended beyond the stock. i also made it shorter so it would be more portable.

Umm... dont go with a QEV. spring load that ball valve and run her at high pressure.. after you get your shock pump i mean.
A QEV is fine. And will open much quicker than a spring loaded BV and they can still handle around 700psi+

Im going with the QEV, ive been told they can handle quite some pressure, and can be alot more ergonic than spring loaded a ball valve, and will DEFINATELY look better also.

Oh an I agree with the extended barrel, it needs it. It will make the scope look better too.

Alright alright, i extended it by about 6 inches, happy

I also made a wood butt pad(3-4 inches long) for the back of the stock that will be adjustable via bolts. I am just waiting for the stain to dry, then ill bolt it on and take some pics :D

I like it! ,its the sort of shape/size I had in mind for my next semi Auto project.

How are you loading the ammo on this?

To load you just unscrew the barrel, load in some ammo, then shoot, really simple. Also ditched the bv yesterday and added a blowgun modded for efficiency and high flow, this way i would have a real trigger, and it performs better than the bv because i cant open the BV all the way with my finger like a trigger, but i can with the blowgun, hope that made sense! Also as for a qev, i cant do that for a few months. i was working on the gun yesterday, not paying attention to the time, then wen i looked at the clock i had to leave everything in the garage how it was, then i HAD to go, then my dad walked in, saw the mess and assumed i wasnt going to clean it up, so he said i am not allowed to do any tinkering/sawing/staining/working/etc. for a while(a few months :( . so this is how it will look for a LONG time.

I'm all for the promotion of good manufacturing practices, but it sounds a bit harsh... ah well, you can spend the time scribbling away at the drawing board ;)
