No, no, no. Coat with flat black, cover in stripes of masking tape. Coat with flat brown, cover with more strips. Coat with khaki, take off all tape, then perfect desert camo.

I saw the pic. Don't you understand? I swear man, you don't listen to anything I ever tell you! Damn, the only black that will show is the part you cover with tape! It's only a few stripes! The color that will show the most is the last coat, which is why you do the tan last.

So here is my idea for reusable shells.
Carve out a small groove on the inside of the breech with a dremel or similar tool. The shell body can be made from thin walled 1/2" pvc melted down or cut a strip out and join together the sides to make it fit inside the barrel. The washer on the back of the shell keeps it from launching out, while still letting air flow through. I will try to find a washer with the biggest hole possible, and if I can only find one with a small hole I can just drill it out a bit. I just forgot to draw wadding in front of the bbs.

Cool, next time I have the gun I might try it... for now paper shells are ok.
And sorry, I didn't see your first reply to this topic and in response to it, we didn't have access to pipe cutters or a vise during the construction of this gun, since we made it at Reedfe's house. We used a hack saw without any tools to help stabilize it, so it was very difficult to make. Also, the bushing probably slipped out a bit after we pushed it in, but again, no vise or anything to keep it all the way in until it dried enough to stay in place, so it pushed itself out a bit. It should be fine.

nice job. i did something similar last year. i had the multi shot system that you had but i added a door spring to the ball valve. made a great airsoft shotgun and hunting airgun. but sadly last oktober it broke in an unfixable way :(

This has made me start dreaming about a double barreled break barrel shotgun. Has a double barrel ever been dome before? Opps... Sorry for hijacking this thread.

Yes, it has been done on Spudfiles before, but not often. Go to the 'Search' button on the upper right hand corner to find some.

Dude, amazing job, and the khaki was the first coat so it doesn't matter what the second kind was. AWSOME JOB!! It looks fantastic, don't think I would have done any better :D Did you tape off the valves, or tape anything off for that matter? Oh and did I mention, it looks AWSOME!!!! I want to touch it. :D

EDIT, on second look, did you add a guide to the break barrel, and is it painted where it slides?
