congrats, finally got that gun finished. a great first start. Now's the time to start looking for ammo for that 1" pipe, maybe those small bouncy balls. but the gun is capable of getting new barrels too. see what pipe size works for hackey sacks, that would be sweet.

Well built,
well done,
have fun

Huse over and out

wait... i just noticed you're not finished  , git r done!!! im too lazy to delete that whole paragraph!

don't be discouraged my friend! it's taking me awhile to finish my toilet paper gun, for homecoming this fall. softballs work with 4" pipe too Muhahaha!

omg im a retard, i am a retard, excuse me as i pretend to kill myself.

I still need my Sprinkler valve, schrader valve, and 100 psi gauge from Joel, he said he shipped it Monday, if so I'll have it tomarrow :D

It's built well, but I just dipped my thumb in the primer and made thumbprints on it and smears lol

I just got a 1" ball valve from my neighbor to test it, but I remember I don't have the schrader yet :D

I took thoose picture about 1 minute after I finished gluing, so it wa 2+ hours ago, and my glue says 2 hours, so I thought it would be ok at low PSI, I know that it truely takes 24 hours to be positively cured....

And that 1" pipe isn't my real barrel, only temporary... I already have the 2 barrels for my ABS cannon... I need a 2" to 1" bushing, but dam Home Depot doesn't have anything I need :) except everything else I bought :D

you have to go 2"-1.5, 1.5"-1", trust me, i asked a guy at home depot

i could only find 2"-1.5" in DWV but i used it anyways since its sleeved by pressure rated pipe and its sleeving PW pipe (so very little of the bushing will be exposed to pressure).
look in the phone book for other home improvement stores, home depot has poor selection. i go to a store called Menard's.

always ask the friendly employees at stores, they will get you in and out and you won't get a headache trying to read the print on the shelves, and the lights are usually a headache too.

hopefully that'll help you on your quest to spud gun prefection.

3 words: hackey sack barrel.

think,
explore,
experiment!

good luck with your gun

It's finally completed... if you haven't looked at the first post yet... do!

I love the look of the Schrader, gauge, and valve that Joel sent me too...

At first I was filling the gun to 95 and shooting it and it honked like a bitch...
I was soo mad, I thought that a blowgun was a big enough pilot, well I looked at the blowgun, and it had the safety tip on :D .... So I unscrewed it, filled to 95 psi, and WHOOOSH! good-bye eardrums :!:

Man this thing is WAY more powerful than I thought... At 15 psi it shot a rubber bouncy ball 600 feet when I was at a flat tragectory and that ball didn't even seal very great...

What size pipe to make PVC rockets for 1" pipe?

How do I make these 1" darts easily? I searched and found darts, but it's still un-clear to a noob like me :D

I'm making a Block to hold my 1" stable, is it possible to adapt it so my 1.5" and 2" barrels will fit in the block too without having to swap blocks?

Ok, I need input for tomarrow, I'm was going to cut my Chamber down to 26\" or so because 4' is really big and everytime I shoot I see fog coming out way after my projectile leaves the barrel ( the fog is explosive decompression right?). Well I just want to cut off some length for some reason, what do you think is a good length, or do you think that I should just keep it the way it is...

Also, how do I see how many yards the projectile will fly with GGDT? I know how to get velocity, time to leave barrel... But how do I get distance?

I need to know what size I should make my chamber, 48" seems too big, I already bought a new 3" cap, but what should I cut my chambers size down to? GGDT says 26" is about the max I would need and that's for shooting tennis balls out of 2.5" barrel 4 feet in length...

Also, how do I find distance with GGDT?

I got told that misty stuff coming iut your barrel is moister caused by the rapid loss of pressure, it looks really cool :D

I wanna make a gun a bit like this, if i have 2"(50mm) going into the 1" sprinkler valve with adapters for the barrel and the chamber will i lose alot of flow?

Should i make the barrel 1" and the chanber 2" or keep them both 2"
