@LovableAirGuns
thanks ^_^

i know it looks a bit rough at the moment but im sure it will be ok!

what size 'T' did you use? by the way?
mine is like a 22mm so i didnt think i would need to file down the bolt as there is loads of room for the air to get by..
or should i do it anyway?

@squidchicken
yeah, the stuff in the pic was just a mock up of the final valve, i went and got some decent non slip nuts and a longer bolt so it would all hold together!

Since you have a big tee piece and a skinnie bolt you shouldnt have to file down the bolt and it should have some good air flow but the size of my tee piece is the same on the link i gave you :D

anyone - im having issues making the end of my valve air tight, just blowing on it you can hear a small amount of air leaking through.

its basically just a steel washer on the ens of the t section, then a thick rubber bushing type thing on the moving bolt, you can kinda see it in the pic i put up before.

its totally sealed around the washer so it must be leaking under the rubber some how, which is weird because its quite a strong spring on the opposite end

this is driving me crazy.

haha ahhh shiiiit, i was hoping there was a really simple answer that i had overlooked

i stuck a tap washer over the end, instead of the bushing thing, and the increased surface area seemed to stop the leak mostly. the only problem is that the tap washer is wider and will restrict the air flow a bit :/
