hello!
Here is a PAC coaxial Hammer!
No loss of air, not exhaust
Pressure: 40bar
Caliber: 12mm
joints are between the barrel and the breech

Un PAC has been achieved here with this principle?

It is al-xg who told me about this system and realized the PAC.

EDIT : Not tested, probably tomorrow

Looks good, that's a cool design. Jack, i know i keep saying about pneumatic cartridges :roll: but you should try a pneumatic cartridge with this sort of design :)

Cool! Never seen it done before! Looks pretty clean. What pressure will it be operating at? And are the projectiles custom made or fire arm bullets?

Your English is great, as good as some of my friends who's native language is English! :lol: What sort of fill valve is that at the bottom? I'm assuming it is a fill valve. Good luck with the cartridges! :D

I've made "valveless" launchers but not specifically with this principle.

The reason it puts me off is that it requires well finished cylindrical projectiles in order to work.

You could of course use a sabot but it would still require plenty of sabots to be made.

It would be relatively simply to make but as above, the reason I never made one is the projectile requirements.

Talking about sabots, would a captive piston not work here? I suppose a captive piston is kinda pointless in a cartridge but for full size?

Of course when you're commited to make sexy projectiles, it will work :)

Wouldn't it have been easier to put the o-rings on the projectiles than on the breech? Just my intuition.
would a captive piston not work here?
The problem is having it survive intact enough to seal again, you'd probably have to make one per shot anyway.

No, it's easier to put seals on the inside
