Seeing as I haven't yet posted anything but ideas so far onto spudfiles, I decided to make a nice, aesthetically pleasing Paintball gun out of some spare pvc pipes I had left over from a plumbing project. Seeing as it's practically my first build worth showing off to the world, I think it's pretty darn good! here are some features:

Breech loading bolt.

Single spring actuated ball valve.

Pistol grip with two stage trigger with removable safety.

Fully functioning adjustable rear sight.

360 fps muzzle velocity with a 68 cal paintball.

But enough of the stats here are some pictures!

Videos of it firing and damage shots with lead slugs coming soon!

(by the way ignore the date on the pictures in the video, my camera died the other day and it's very confused)

Edit:
Updated with new pictures, and video (see recent post)

Awesome!
Single shot I suppose. What's the pressure you fire at?

Nice. Looks really good. Was that actually made in '06 or not?

Haha, google ads are funny. and to answer your question:
Single shot I suppose. What's the pressure you fire at?
I fire at about 120 psi using my little bike pump, and yup! it's a single shotter.

Well, in light of the recent 177 Challenge it inspired me to dig out The ol' girl after the two odd years she's been sitting on the shelf in my garage, not for the challenge but just for fun really.
After digging it out from underneath gratuitous amount of junk, and seeing in how much of a poor condition it was I decided to give it a new lease of life, dusted it off, gave it a new lick of paint, and have made some upgrades!

It now has a copper 8 shot magazine, improved bolt handle, and a load of smaller modifications so it runs a bit smoother than before.
Also after finding an old 60 PSI compressor used for painting, (and after some heavy modification of the poor thing) connecting it up to the gun directly now allows me to fire in 'bolt action' , so no more laborious pumping between shots, In fact, the thing thing gets through rounds so quick it ate up an entire case of paint in about half a day, without a single breakage or jam.
Well I'm quite chuffed with it, so here are some glamour shots, and a video of the improved mechanism in action.

Looking good! Nice to see "complete" projects that perform as advertised.

Very cool build. What about havingthe feed tube at an angle to allow use of the sights?
