I have the same valve you can get them on eBay they are called dust collector valves but eBay lists them as pneumatic relief valves

You should ask for a job at whatever company makes these valves :D

Thanks for the tribute cannon, 8ton. That valve you've got on there will sure give a few golfballs a good wallop

The reason I made this new one is because the green gorilla cracked from over tightening. I was having trouble with leaks so I tightened it so more and crack. Does anyone know does lighter fluid eat away at pvc. And how many rounds of teflon tape should I use on my joints. I googled the two questions but I couldn't find a good answer.

And thanks Matty.

Why would you put lighter fluid on pvc?? I would think it might. As far as teflon tape goes it depends, thats one of them things you gotta eye ball, better more than less though.Any type of pluming is suppossed to be SNUG not TIGHT. A 1/4 to a 1/2 turn past snug is how plumbers tighten fittings. what piece cracked?? If your only loosing a few psi I wouldnt worry about it.

To get off a sticker and I wiped it off right after i got the sticker off. And i'm just not going to use the other chamber.

No harm done but next time the pvc primer will work just as good if not better than lighter fluid for stickers.

Its funny how you contribute the cannon to Mr Crowley, when. Msttyzip told you about the valve and how to build it in the first place!!!!

I'm getting a bit tired of people acting like Mr C is some sort of God.

I mean...

He's done his share of wonders but he's no Mr Crowley.....
:D

anyway...
You can crack a perfectly healthy fitting by overtightening it..

Spaying icecold lighterfuel on it is probably not going to help..

I would like to recommend a barrelsupport BTW.
