I know you don't have the barrel yet, I should have said to make it like the Airforce condor like Gippeto suggested.

The valves? I did bought them in China, but they are very good quality, not sh*ts you buy from ebay.
@Labtec: post some pictures of the tube, so maybe we can get to a deal

Can't take a good pic right now.
I have 2 different tubes, 316L ss, and high-pressure hydraulics tube
(EN 10305-4 E235 10.0x2.0)
The 316L tube has an ID of 6.2 mm, and the piece I have isn't dead straight.
The other tube has a far better fit for a precision bb, and is entirely straight. Length is about 60 cm, I can probably get larger pieces in september.
@pneumaticcannons; Where do you live? shipping outside the EU will get quite expensive I think..

Nah Wyz, I was referring to your girlfriend.
Then no, we were together before I went to China "shopping"
@Labtec: if you can get 1m of the 60cm tube you have, we could get to a deal for a package of 5 tubes

Thailand, but I would never ship it here. It would go to where I stay in the US. The shipping would get expensive but I think it would be worth it. Edit: Ill stop hi-jacking your thread now wyz

boooooo!
I note I have already been used as an example of the negative influence of a "better" half
So, I decided to build a airsoft sniper rifle, my objective it´s to see how accurate a airsoft bb can be.
The limiting factor is the BB. The low density invariably means that the projectile will slow down very rapidly, leading to a rainbow-like trajectory, and will also be very susceptible to environmental factors.
I have steel bbs and if this gun really work out well, I may use a pellet gun barrel. But for now 0.40g bbs are accurate enough for up to 50m.

Test made at 8 bar, 0.25g bb.

Has anyone ever employed the use of an airsoft hop-up? It seems like all of the bb/airsoft guns that everyone makes disregards this part.. It would seriously increase the range and accuracy on your gun, and make loading a hell of a lot easier..

Finished the reload/magazing block, also added a homemade hop up, worked like wonder with only 5 bar I was able to have a effective range of 40m reliably.

I won't be able to get that length for free.
When I return to work i'll see if I can get them, and what the price would be
in the meantime I hope I can get some precision measurements on the ID..

Don´t worry, get what you can the max length of airsoft barrel sold here are only 630mm and bloody expensive, around 40 euro for a aluminium one, most of the airsoft guns use only uses 560mm. So 60cm it´s ok for me.
