Hello everyone- I have been viewing potato cannons for quite some time now and have just joined this forum as I have something to share. I've been building for years from scratch everything from black powder arms to this pnuematic all stainless steel, aluminum, breech loading potato sizing/lemon cannon. Lemons are now the preferred load as they are attaining 2000 ft. and will blow the bark completly off of a full grown oak tree! The cannon has a onboard air compressor, 12 v battery and connection for outside air source which is preferred for repetitive shooting, the loading bolt is actuated by air and manual valves, elevation is changed by air from the video sighting/fire control unit. I have tried but have been unable to load pics, internet can't display web page, will try again, in the mean time here is the YOU TUBE ADDRESS, search You Tube video for hhhh 0001 two hands cannon. Thanks and enjoy, 2hands

P.S. Please let me know what you think.

There is nothing coming up when typing in "hhhh 0001 two hands cannon".
Maybe you should just copy and paste the address of the video....

I love it, but when comes to shooting... :? where is the BANG?
I´d definitely make a hybrid out of it, or at least a piston valve pneumatic.

Thanks all for the input, glad you liked it. Sorry MMR that you had trouble, it looks like ZEUS cured the problem, so, thanks ZEUS really appreciated the favor. Computers always appear more like targets to me. I still get can't display web page when I try to upload a photo. I am on the smoke signal internet which doesn't help. ZUES or anyone, if you would like to see more detailed stills I can send them via email if you wouldn't mind posting them. Thanks 2hands

Nicely done :) there are a few things I would improve about the actual cannon but it's hard to criticise the whole setup, good job!

Yeah, with fabrication skills like that you should definitely consider making a hybrid or a fancy HPA multi-shot pneumatic in the future.
We don't see builds like this very often.

Nice build.

On your next one, make the flow path shorter and larger between the chambers and barrel. Try to completely vent the chamber into the barrel in under 30 ms. Hissing out air long after the projectile is gone indicates too much flow restriction.
