This is my first over-under style gun which all of the parts i got for it were free!except the sprinkler valve. I got all the parts from one of the workers at a reece plumbing store which i befriended and they where doing stock take so he gave me a few piece of pipe and fittings which they didnt want to bother about having to stock take on.I got 2.3meters of class 12 50mm pipe and alot fo fittings and all the 50mm fittings for free.FREE!!!
Its pritty simple and shoots carrots out of sight, which is pritty cool and i also plan on getting a 50mm barrel aswell i still have alot of the 50mm pipe left over from the chamber so all i need is reducers.
Tell me what you think and anything i could add to it.Thanks for your time.

MM's!!! AHHHHHH

When carrots take over the world

Nice gun, but why do you need a ball valve to fill the female disconnect, just pull out the male when it's done filling.

I'm going to put a ball valve and a male quick disconnect on one of my guns...

The reason have a ball valve is because on my air compressor i use 2 female conections and i have 2 male connections with a 1/4 ball valve in the middle so i can choose when i want to fill it not just connect and fill.

and this is the crazy johno holding the gun of CARROT DOOM!!!
i shall answer demons question on wat is it with john and carrots and that is that carrots are just so simple to cut up and shove down the barrel when grape season is not on + they leave a cool orange mark where you shot (that is unless if it went through wat you were shooting then yeah you never see any part of that carrot again, this is a personal message from me to everyone out there flowers penatrate the skin even with weak guns so do not ever shoot your friends with flowers caz it will make them bleed isn't that right john...

ohh yeah and grapes make you look like you have a dirty ring worm when you get shot by them so dont shoot your friends with them either caz it does hurt alot, not just a little but A LOT...once again isn't that right john...

ok lets just say don't point your gun at anyone caz that is bad and if the gun missfires then you can expect to be punched in the hea by the person who was in the line of fire...isn't that right ADAM!!! roofing screws hurt the most.

bunnings sells them from 16-30 dollars, but make sure you get one with "OUT" a guide rod because then they are so much easeyer to modd. the guide rod is a black turning thing and it controls the flow rate so dont get one of thos

yeah i know the whole "guide rod" thing.the only sprinkler valve ive ever seen is on trademe buts its $35 incl shipping so i might pop down to bunnings.whats the best brand/model for the price like is the $16models any better then the $30 models?

In Bunnings i have only ever seen valves with guide rods they all come standard with it even the ones with out the flow control so what you do is mod the valve the usual way you would and take out the guide rod then fill the hole were the guid rod was wiht epoxy then wait till it is dried and heat a a needle in a flame till its red then poke a small hole through the epoxy, this acts and the equalisation hole thats how i have modded my valves with guide rods and the valve i got from Bunnings was $16 but i think they went up in price now they are about $20.
