Nice cannon. I too am surprised that burst disks aren't more common. They generally are the most efficient valve.

Me too. Their sheer simplicity and low cost makes them ideal for just about anyone. They work great too!

I have a Air Burst Rocket that I got a few years ago. It shoots incredibly well using burst discs. They claim it can reach 1000 feet and I truly do believe it. That rocket is amazing!

Sorry for ressurecting this but...

I dug this thing up the other day and played around with some new burst discs. I found that duct tape is the best and easiest thing to use.

I made a nice crater when I shot an empty 12 gram straight into the ground. The thing got stuck 6 inches deep and I was showered in dirt.

I also blasted some bb's to kingdom come.



Seeing how much fun this cannon is, I'm going to work on some smaller pistol-like ones.
