The rubber sheet is the diaphragm (fixed)

They are pretty thick, like 6mm,

In the m203 they're a lot thinner.

Yes, I know that theye are used for a diafragma. But I mean, the sheets you buy, what are they normaly used for. I guess they are not manifactured for cutting out spud gun diaframa's. They have a other purpous

Oooo.... The thick ones I punch out of 4" rubber pipe caps. They fit over PVC and tighten with a hose clamp. Around $8.

The thin ones are just rubber bath tub stoppers.

:) Nice toy.

Seems to me that if you cut the barrel off flush to the cylinder and secure the device inside another cylinder (facing inwards), then stuffed the gap between the outer cylinder and the cylinder wall of the gadget with paintballs and attached a wire from the relief valve you would end up with a paintball trip mine.

sorry for the hella late ass post, but what if you tied a string to the safety valve, and attached it do the barrel of a bigger gun. Then you could shoot it out of one and have it fire at long distance. You might destroy it though...

Why do you need the pop-off valve? Couldn't you just fill it through the air valve, then, like when someone deflates their car tires with a pressure gauge, just push a piece into the back of the valve, releasing air? Or does the pop off release it faster.
