Yes the thingy (technical term for "thing") on the barrel is a silencer.

looks alike a copy of btb's sawn off same style valve with a longer and smaller bore barell

Ah no. I will when I get to see this gun again(left it at grandparents house, hopefully grandpa doesent mistake it for a athsma inhaler and kill himself)

Thats pretty cool. How high are you taking it? I just made a semi auto rifle out of 2 mm thick galvanized steel - Im just working out how to post it :? :lol: I like the way you have upgraded it from a simple ball valve to a piston valve. When its finished how are you going to compress the air, another problem for my gun, i only have a foot pump :(

Well dont on a great gun, so far, can't wait to see more!

Oh and one more thing, sorry about reposting instead of editing, stll can't find that button. Where did you get your snap in tire valve from, I looked at bunnings and they didnt have them?
