Commando Valve

Heres my new valve for my golf ball gun. It is a 2in tee with 1 1/5in porting. Gorts mauler and )DEMON('s shotgun inspirered me to built this. The piston is EXTREMELY light should actuate very fast. The piston is fully accessable and the sealing face is from a toy. A sprinkler valve is what dumps the pilot area. The pilot area may look big but the piston and bumper take up the whole area. The bumper is a tennis ball with a hole cut into it (thanks RNA for the idea). Well enough talking and heres some pics.

What did you make the piston out of?

Oh but its a secret! Not really Its a pill bottle with one o-ring. I wanted to use double o-rings but only one spot was thick enoughto put grooves in it for them.

Ogha I still have to put the the quick disconnect on it.

No I have not tested it yet. Im waiting for the glue to dry on the chamber and the 90 degree elbow that comes from the tee. Then I will have to use my one inch barrel until I go and get my GB barrel. The chamber is 5ft of 2in. Its gonna be fun! Oh and my cat is soo lazy and puts up with stuff because It really could care less.

Awsome valve, nice that you finally got it done :D Befor you glue some pipe in the bottom of the tee I rate you should put a male or female adapter in there. That was you can remove it from an air chamber when you want.

It looks great. I hope it works well, the sealing face looks like it doesn't have enough area but it should work. :D

Again great valve, I should make one.

Well I already glued the elbow on so its too late. The sealing faces is a little small for my liking but it works good. I can blow in it from the male connector and it seals.

Here are some test shots. All around 20~30 psi. this was 3/4 inch particle board. Very easy to go through. The videos look cool though. :P  The face that I shot is named charley. He's really nice.

Video from behind. (look at the top metal thing. This ones pretty cool)
