hell yer, what state r u in? im in WA and i cant get much good sprinkler valves, but when u get 1 it'll be a smart idea to take a look at the how-to section on this website to see how to modify 1, it really helps in dumping the air faster

Yeah, same question dude. Where did you find a ball valve with good enough threads for a soda bottle?

he might have sanded the threads down a bit and put teflon tape over them and screwed it in my cannon does that into a hose valve

naw he used 3/4"-1" reducer, filed off most of the bottle threads and just let the metal cut its own thread into the plastic. pretty ingenious if ya ask me, oh and BTW this gun doesnt exist anymore he made a new gun which is totaly kick ass http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/mitchos ... t8894.html

Hey guys sorry for the no reply on this page for the last few months. i thought it was totally dead n no one checked it anymore. But yeah....Chaos explained it perfectly. When it comes to soda bottles, its the best way to do it. I've never had a problem with it. If anyone has any questions about any one of my guns, I'll be more then happy to answer.

My pop off valve should be getting here tomorrow. Yes...after about 8 months I finally get round to getting one thanks to Rna. If not for him, it would be another 6 months hahaha.

I'll post some pics of the new trigger when its installed. it should be great!

Regards,

Mitch.

Hey Guys just to let ya know, i made gun just like this one, just a simple 20mm ball valve 600mm 3/4 poly barrel, its great, recommended for all beginners.

i made this one cauz im at my mums, and my mums b\f is a cop la da da all that.... so i didn't want to have a high pressure stainless gun in his house that might get taken away, so i bought a length of poly, a 20mm ball valve and man its pretty fun, i dont know what pressure im using tho cauz theres no gauge on the pump

neways didnt want to make a new topic on a replica gun.

all cred to mitcho for not letting my first week of my skol holidayz go without a gun :D

im disappointed the ball valves you buy from bunnings are only rated 1600Kpa tho, so much for a metal chamber and insane pressures
