Very nice man! Perhaps some kind of handles and paint? That would top it off and make it look even better.

I saw something like this on youtube like a couple of months ago...was it you? They shot their friend with it and he was wearing heaps off padding.
hell funny!

Ahem............you aren't supposed to refer to shooting people with the guns on this forum. Please don't get this poor guys post locked.

Well, paintball guns are for shooting people you know...
At least that's what the kids these days use them for :)

anyone seen he hugely bumped this thread for his post count?

Old threads may be kicked up, if you have something relevant and timely to say. Useless ("Cool!") or untimely ("you can find X here" as a reply to a two-month old thread such as "I need to find X by tomorrow") replies may be deleted.

I have to say yes its a great gun, so good in fact i made the first post.

There are some interesting manifold fittings available here that basically save you all the work. Just slap on some SDR 13.5.

I have made several cannons similar to this that I set up on my paintball field as fixed artillary pieces...Mine only have 5 barrels but they are 5 ft long and we load 15 balls in each barrel for a 75 ball shot total....I cast my own manifolds by pouring bondo into a 3"x3"pvc pipe and set 3/4 " cpvc couplings into the bondo before it hardens...You plug the backside of the couplings with putty before you set it in bondo ...Then you solvent weld the pipe into the couplings.....works extremely well.

I really like your design. Also, there's been a lot of writing on here about launching a net or bolo. I think your barrel design could be adapted for something like that too.
Maybe if the center barrel was eliminated and the barrels had slots part way down on the inside, and the net or bolo could fit where the center barrel currently is.
Besides that I really dig the shotgun concept, maybe more than fully auto pb sub guns.

very nice, does it fire all 9 at once, or do some of them fail to fire? it seems like if any shot has more resistance than another, it will fail to fire, just a thought, pretty cool though.

daxspudder: the paintballs actually stay in a very consistent group. If you shoot up, you can see them flying through the air together and it looks pretty cool. The air just travels so fast that a small inconsistency in friction isn't much of a problem.

Skullkid: No I don't have plans but just look at it. It uses a modded sprinkler valve and the barrels are held in place with Great Stuff. Pretty simple really.
