Dan, The piston was molded from marine epoxy, with a thick neoprene gasket bolted onto the tip. It did eventually break, so I went with the good old bolts'n'washers with the gasket bolted on method.

first let me say that I like this design a lot, simple as hell but effective as a result.
two questions:
1. Can't quite tell where your air in is, do you fill through the black thing on the end of the chamber or through the pilot valve?
2. How is the blowgun nozzle hooked up/ where did you get it?
