First Pneumatic

This is my first Pneumatic, only ever had experience with Combustions. And I have to say. Pneumatics. By far. I was overwhelmed by the power of these things.

All the white PVC is 32mm Pn12 Pressure PVC rated at 175PSI. 470mm Chambers and a 600mm Barrel, Irrigation piping. The black reducer and pipe looking things are threaded irrigation connectors/adapters. Not sure but they might be ABS, but there are 3 of them all doubled over each other. So a chance of a crack etc it will be the chamber. 15mm Brass ball valve and filling is a bike valve/schrader valve.

Currently had it to 85PSI not a leak in it, AA batteries fit perfectly down the barrel and at 85PSI will fly maybe 200M or more, not sure. Sorry about the green mess. I didnt want the pressure PVC cement to allow any leaks.

Anyway, seeing as its my first. You think its safe to take it up past 100 PSI? Maybe to like 120?

You will never know untill you do it. Thats like asking if sex feels good, you never know untill you do it. Just wear protection when you test the limits, during both of above mentioned!

buy a sprinkler valve and mod it, you'll be even more amazed at the increased power and accuracy :)

Still, very nice for a first effort.

Will flex a bit like Chaos said. but not too much. 102PSI with the smallest leak. Just have to replace the 2 black reducers. I did them to tight and have just about threaded them selves. So thats why i think its leaking.

Anyone know where to buy sprinkler valves?
