Hey
Here is my first pneumatic cannon.

All made out of pressure pipe
20mm barrel
40mm chamber with a 40mm pipe for support over the barrel
32mm silencer with cotton wool inside to help buffer the sound
Pneumatically activated 25mm modded sprinkler valve
Blow gun is mounted on the handle for a more realistic stock and trigger
Pressure gauge
Schrader valve
Bolt action breach loader
Stock to assist with holding and firing

nice for a first. i feel ashamed of my first now. next time be a wee bit carful with the glue, but it still looks very nice for a first.

ps- is the scilencer removable? can you tell that it really works or not?

The silencer is glued on with epoxy and i can break the glue of without any real damage. I've shoot it without the silencer and it takes a bit of the bang of the sound, so it makes a bit of a difference, since i don't have a decibel reader i can only judge qualitatively (i think thats the word).

Yeah and with the glue, i plan to paint it soon, maybe a mat black and silver for the barrel.

Nice first, mine is yet to come(other than my minis). The bolt-action reload...did you get the design from PVC Ballistics? It looks exactly the same..

Hey
Thanks for the kind words everyone

@flamerz14 - My breach loader is a modification of poor mans breach found here http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/viewtop ... 7.html#327. Myne is the same, except its a 3/4 circle tube instead of a full tube. I got the idea for the handle from PVC ballistics. It looks similar because i have the 40mm support barrel over the 20mm barrel

Shorten that hose from the blow gun to the sprinkler valve, there is more performance to be had doing that.

What class pipe did you use?PN12 PN18?And what type of style is your silencer does it have baffles?

And not bad at all for a first, looks like you did a bit of homework.

OK ill shorten the hose, thanks for telling me that.
The 40mm pipe is PN12 and the other pipes and all the fittings are PN18
The silencer just has one section with cotton wool in it and its closed of with 2 PVC washers, the 1 section is about the length of half the silencer, the rest is just a bit of an extension to the barrel. Im also going to either drill holes in the silencer at the end or i will put a horizontal slit at the end for looks.

Yeah i did alot of research about pneumatic guns, the first version was the basic under-over design with a ball valve, no real stock, then i modified it to have a stock and a sprinkler valve and all the other mods i have on it.
