If you post damage photos, I hope they aren't fish related.
Nice cannon, upload a picture of the ammo if you can.

It's not for harming fish or any living things.

I might have to do this, seeing as im pissed off at the innacuracy and the horrible outcomes of homdemade darts for my .62 cal dart sniper. how much did that blowgun set you back? and how much for say 100 darts?

that blowgun is probably about 30 bucks, maybe less. check out Cabelas for them.

as for the darts check my how to. if you can find the milk cartons/water jugs, and 100 nails, you've got free ammo. i can make about 30 in 40 min.

That particular blowgun (36") was $10.

100 premade darts cost around $10. Considering how fast you lose/bend/dull them, making your own isn't that bad of an idea.

hm, $10 not bad....

ive taken to making my darts with big nails, they are extremely hard to dull, and if they do i just grind 'em again with my dremmel. ive shot one thru a penny at 80 psi  . ive only lost 1 of the 15 ive made, but thats because i shot it at a fence and it flew thru the space in between the boards. ive also given many to friends, and i dunno how many they have lost.

Awesome. It looks like it has ninja skills. I need to make one with barrel support tee's like that. They look cool :rr:

Does home depot sell those micro valves? I don't know how to deal with dinky QEV's that go off when you disconnect your bike pump.

AHA! Flying Salt has been attacking by the evil dink thing!

It came out really nice, I should use those barrel T things sometime, they seem to work well. How much did the blowgun (trigger) cost? They would make me happy if they're under $15. Trigger handles for strafers are really annoying to make.

That one was around $20. I got the whole QEV/trigger setup from McMaster months ago for another cannon, but I put that one on hold for a while.

You mean the schrader? My HD doesn't sell them.
And I sure hope the one I have doesn't pilot the gun when I take the bike pump off. That would suck.

I read in an outdoor life magazine that when you are bowfishing, every five feet out your target is, you should aim one foot lower than your target, hope this helps you with the refraction problem. Great looking gun.

You should win a Migyver Award for that breech idea. It's almost ghetto! Brilyent! Clever thinking.
