Some people either don't have the facilities to purchase their own sprinkler valves locally and mod them themselves, or prefer to pay to buy a ready made item - since BC offers this service at a very reasonable price, it's only fair that this option should be pointed out, even if there are cheaper (and more labour intensive) ways of doing it.
