Not sure if I understand the question, when it comes to pop-offs though I believe I've done my research ;)

in other words... whatever you want to build jsr has probably already tested it (and the prototype exploded) :D

in your movie the magazine is above the barrel, could you use this system to feed ammo into the gun like in a m-16 or AR-15 setup?
also, how did you make the piston? I tried to cast a piston sorta like that one once out of hot glue, it stuck so badly that I couldn't get it out with a hammer.

Did you lube the tube before you poured the glue? That helps a bunch with removal. To make the mag feed from the bottom he could simply add a spring... doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out dude.

I gave it a go here but was let down by a faulty seal.

if you can upgrade the materials to tuffer things you could use a stronger spring for a faster return. then pulse the air to it for full auto. :)

Managing to do this successfully was my holy grail for a number of years, in the end the solution was relatively simple without fancy electronics or timer circuits ;)

yeah but the valve opens as fast as it cycles.. so in other words it is quite slow when compared witha typical piston valve

I disagree, the piston always opens at the same rate - the difference in cycling rate is now long it takes the piston to re-close, obviously with higher flow it will be open for longer and you'll potentially get more power.

As explained by PM, this is a simpler way of going about it: http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/full-au ... 10217.html
