The barrel is 30" long. I guess I forgot to take pictures of how long it actually is.
Taking into consideration that he has a 2-3 foot barrel and mine is about 1/2" may broaden your thinking....
is your barrel 30"(2'4") or 1/2". it can't be both

Sorry again;
Anyway, when will you have the barrel on it noname?
I'd like to see some damage pics, or at least a video of it's action.
240(+) rpm in a semi is impressive.

if it took that long to dry then you didnt mix it right..... i have Epoxy that NEVER dried.
Firstly, epoxy doesn't dry, it cures

[/pedant mode]

:)

It's not supposed to take that long to cure unless a) you didn't mix it thoroughly enough (I usually clamp a stirrer in my drill for this purpose) or b) you left it in a very cold place.
Jack, I'm never going to have any videos of any of my guns, strafers or otherwise.
Shame - not even a cheap-o webcam you can adapt?

maybe you should have clarified it to windshrike, instead of saying you had two different barrel lengths.

have a nice day!

Looks good, maybe with a desgin like your AK-74 strafer  . I would make the piston from glue sticks, i you cast it good they well seal automatically with some lubricant.

Wait... so is the BB actually impacted by the bolt (and thats how it moves), or does air pressure push it out? Sorry, I am a little confused...

EDIT: DOH! I get it now.... nice work noname!

Windshrike, there isn't really any point. I get around 350-400 fps (guesstimate), and damage isn't hugely impressive.
Jack, nope, not even a crappy webcam.
Experament, I'll get one after I paint the gun.
Tom, the AK-47 strafer isn't mine.
Rmich, both; it's a whole lot easier to see on Jack's though.

I mounted a scope today, and made an aluminum stock for it. The new hopup got knocked out as well. The bolt has started to stick in the T every now and then. I'm either going to get/make a stronger spring, bore out the T more, or both.

I finished 'em like half an hour ago and I'm "doing my homework." Wait until it's painted, it'll only be a few days.
