I have abandoned the bullpup design for now.I tried schooting rice out of it and the power was disapointing.I thought it was due to the Larc style feed system so I cut it down and went for a cloud for now.I drilled out the stem.It had an ID of UNDER 1mm, so yes, that restricted flow a LITTLE.
ID is now 4.2 mm

I cut off the bend...only to find out later the disapointing result was due to an empty CO2 bottle!!

Stupid me!!'
Well. I guess, for testing purposes, a cloud makes it more legit.

I'll go to the store sometime to get me a new section of barrel.
I'll use a longer piece next time and extend it into a full length "rifle"
THat should give me a higher velocity at lower rps

Sucks that you butchered it for nothing, biut with that you will at least get to improve on it to a better state than it was in before.

Where would I be able to get CO2 or HPA bottles from in the UK for realtivly cheap?

Oh..I checked out the pressure washer handle we have at work ( hardware wholesales) and I believe the "expert" that socalled had my handle costomised to fit my needs, was a bit of a rascal!
THe fitting on the exit nozzle is 1/4" standard!
THe fitting that connects to the hose...can be unscrewed, wich leaves a 1/4"socket!!

Specially made-my butt!! :x
Good news to all who would like to use CO2 directly though!!

Well, the modifying part was BS, I guess, but I looked up the prices and I did only pay half of that.
So I was still better off.
I believe brand name was kranzle.

Boy...with my wife being both pregnant and cranky, I wonder if I'll ever get "permission" to go get those bb's and the CO2 refill.

All money is currently reserved...

 Yep.... That gun has made me quit....Either that or completely inspired me :D. Well done mate. It looks like the south bound end of a north bound elephant but wow she must hit with some punch. 150psi and plastic bb's just don't do it for me anymore... I need power! :D

I have put this project on hold for now.
I need to get those b'b's and a refill on the CO2.THen I can stat experimenting...

At the moment I have a new project.I got my first qev today, a 3-way ballvalve and a safety pop-off valve set at 11 bar today.
The 3-way valve will go on Overkill to switch between firing and filling.
The QEV and the pop-off are now on a prototype full auto marble gun.

I'll fire a couple rounds with it again tomorrow.THe QEV is just too loud.
I have tried the feed mech by blowing on it, wich worked great.I have also tried the auto workings of the valves.I am yet to actually shoot the gun with marbles in it.

Full auto was surprisingly easy to achieve.
As the QEV is filled, pressure in both pilot volume and the reservoir build up.THen the pop-off valve opens up , releasing some of the pressure on the piloot/fill side and sets the QEV off.THe pop-off closes very quickly and the cycle continues.THe pop-off closes so fast, a lot of pressure remains inside the reservoir.( this I noticed when I filled it slowly with the trackpump.)
So not only does it sound like a fire cracker, it does so with fairly low gas consumption. :D

it sounds like a real machine gun/DATDATDATDATDAT.
All shots sound the same.
I refill my CO2 bottle with the trackpump up to 20 bar or so and use it to fill the gun through my pressure washer handle.THe feed mechanism is simply a 1"marble used as a blow forward bolt inside of a 28 mm compression Tee.it pushes a 16 mm marble into the barrel and when fully forward, the air can pass the marble through the magazine and flows through ports cut into the barrel.A thin piece of spring puts it back into position after a shot. This thing is more fun then my first Marble Machine Gun.

I'll post some pictures when the MMG is done.

Indeed, this looks like the sort of performance I'm trying to achieve, the blow-forward mechanism sounds simple and dirty too :D

So the QEV fills throught the pilot port ? Without using too much gaz....
I know what ill be trying this weekend ;)
With that 3 way ball valve you could have select fire :) just have a small ball valve between the pop off and the QEV. No actulay that wouldn't work as planned, it would fire until you pressed on the trigger  nice and safe...

How fast does the pop off system work could you still fire a signle shot if you rpessed quickly ?
