Highly Portable BBMG

Here is my first portable bbmg

I made it so that I could fight my friends in air soft gun skirmishes. The gun can shoot bbs for about 1.5 seconds after pumping it 20 times, but I only need to pump it several times to load it sufficiently.

Pump System
The gun can be easily pumped up while running so it can be ready to blast the next person around a corner. The Pump is a regular sports pump attached to a 2-way hose splitter with ball valves to regulate flow. After I pump up the pop bottle, the valve that leads to the pump is closed. (yes there are some small leaks). then the valve to the blowgun is opened and it is ready to fire. I epoxied the hose to the 1/2 inch pipe and attached the pipe to the 1/2 inch threaded fitting.

The Gun Itself
The gun i made a while ago but since I dont have a compressor :( I I had to use a shitty 2 inch pipe as an air reservoir which took a while to pump up. So I kind of abandoned the gun for a while until this Idea took shape.
There is a half hole vortex block made of wood in a 1.5 inch pipe. the plunger is a spring from a broken sprinkler (I Found) at my school

Overall, the gun is pretty well made except the duct tape parts which I plan to glue on later and the un-pressure rated hose, which is probably ok to do the job because of such low pressures that I pump it up to.

I would say its pretty nice.

How is the shooting?

Looks great, how's the rate of fire?
Also, how well do those ball valves stay sealed?

The shootings pretty good, considering that it is charged by a hand pump. The effective range is about 30 meters, which is the bbs accurately hitting a tree at that range. The rof is about 50 rps, but this is with a low air supply.

The ball valves are consistantly solid, I have to worry more about the bottle busting than the valves, although that hasn't happened yet :?

The gun can be easily pumped up while running
I would be surprised if it held together while standing still  :D

Nice airgun. It just looks as if its ganna fallapart anysecond though. I would intergrate some wooden parts to make it more sturdy.

Ya i picked up the 1.5 in abs at a construction site but the valve was $5 and the pump i expect to be $5-10 from a sports shop. the fittings were 50 cents to $1
