Yes, I will get a silencer when I get the stainless steel threaded outer barrel.
Anyone know the thread size of the fill valves on the magazine to that I can connect it to my compressor?

Lol, don't you guys have something like zip guns or zing guns where you put a rubber glove finger over the end of a put and shoot pebbles? My moms friend came over from australia with her kids and all the kids wanted to was shoot me with those goddam guns. Smile
yer i used to have one of them.
pretty fun but the novelty wears off in about 0.045876598 seconds.
i had this wicked little pistol which i got from some seedy chinese chick in an "under the counter" job hehe.
but it broke :x
now i will never find another one cos the place i bought the gun burned down
at least bunnings can never go bust :D

A quick google search revealed nothing. :( All I could find is how to fix leaks in the mag. It's probably some thread type the company made up.Take the mag into home depot or something and try some threads to see if anything is acceptable.

Here are my pieces, an airmag c11 nbb and a utg shotgun.

The shotgun used to be spring modded into a bbmg with working magazines(its in my signature).

The airmag has some plumbing epoxied to it for a silencer in the making.

I know that this will sound weird, but could one of you with a non-crap m4/m16, without optics, get a picture of the gun from the top, with the end of the mag or a ruler for a size-up. taking the picture at a long focal length (zoom in, not digitally) will increase accuracy.

I need to know how thick the receiver is, so I can determine how big of pipe I can use inside one. If it works, I will post it.

thanks.

p.s. one of you with calipers could probably just measure it. I have been looking at 3d models, and they are very inconsistent with their proportions.

Sorry no picture right now but when I do get one I will PM you. the lower receiver is 1 1/4 Inches (sorry no cm ruler right now) and the upper receiver (assuming where that is where you are going to put your pipe) is approx. 1 1/2 inches. Not including the dust cover, and the foward assist.

This is my collection. The top gun is my baby: My JG AK-47b Spetsnaz. My additions to it consist of a mock silencer, which is used to cover up the M4 length tightbore barrel, and a self-done Tigerstripe camo paint job. It shoots about 16-17 rps and 370 fps.

Below that is my BOYI BIM4 M4 with the mock PEQ box, ghetto, homemade flashlight mount, and vertical foregrip. Shooting around 200 fps with .20's. Never measure the ROF on this one, but I use it for an indoor CQB arena.

The Pistols: On the left is my spring KWC Taurus 24/7. That gun was amazing, but it is deceased now. On the right is my Y&P GNBB M9; it is semi auto and uses green gas/propane and shoots about 350, based on comparing against my AK.

On the bottom is my cheap-o CYMA MP5. Got it as a christmas gift and I love the thing. It shoots a whopping 135 fps, but it's so much fun to jack around with. (safely of course)

Wow... I envy you guys who can get airsoft I think I've said it before, and btw people from Australia... I think John C. Hanlon the dude who started Airsoft Australia has failed the legislation with obtaining 18+ airsoft licenses because it's almost the end of December now and there has been no message from him. So it looks like there won't be any airsoft in Australia for a while... sucks I know. Oh well more motivation to make your own BBMG's and play against your friends... except that I'll be firing beads lol

well, the thing is John C. Hanlon Just won a battle with cancer :? which is why the site has been down and no progress was made during the last 12 months. the site domain has been taken so it will be a while before things start moving ahead again, but the support that airsoft Australia is getting is phenomenal as for the proposed age limit of 18+ I agree with it technically, but that isn't to say I'm happy about it as I have to wait 5 more years till I can, but in the meantime I just mess around (safely) with My vortex and sniper guns, waiting for the day to come.
