Ooh, maybe if we use no barrel at all we can achieve overunity!!!

we used a sand blaster in shop class to shoot 1.5mm beads (best BBMG i have ever seen)

I once built a BBMG that used small nails (15 maybe 20 mm long) as ammo and it worked :D

surprisingly it didn't
there was quite a lot of blowby in the barrel but it worked... range wasn't great (10 maybe 15 meters max) but it could penetrate plastic flower pots and other weaker stuff at close range

Wow...1mm bbmg..sawed-off version.
You know I love the sawn off look, it's the corresponding loss of power I'm not too fond of :P
The bernoulli ( sp correct!) effect these bbmg's are based upon is also lessened.
Gas can flow out " a" hole three times the size of the ammo.

Basically I think you would have the same kind of power you have now, if you took a barrel with 3 times the the cross-section area as the ammo and just fired 1mm bb's out of it.
You're discounting the possibility that all three barrel could have BBs in them at the same time...

The thing that worries me is that most BBMGs have valve openings with much worse flow than the 4.5mm or 6mm opening of the breech, in the case of a single barreled 1mm BBMG even cracking the ball valve open gives greater flow than the barrel allows, I wonder if this has something to do with irregular firing.
Ooh, maybe if we use no barrel at all we can achieve overunity!!!
That raised a smile :)

I don't have any but I can assure you it worked... it wasn't better than a typical BBMG but it was kind of cool

ohh I also added a sort of a funnel (a 3 cm length of 6.5mm ID tubing)
behind the detent/rubber washer and it improved feeding by about 50%

right now I am wondering whether it is a better idea to build a better 'funnel' or should I use the tube as the internal magazine and housed inside the chamber
