Airsoft Minigun - With Direct Feed BBMG Design Implemented

Hey guys, I first want to start off on saying this is NOT my project. I only noticed it because of a site called http://www.hackaday.com

I saw the firing mech and it looked to be very similar to my direct feed bbmg design in which you utilize a hopup chamber and you have the co2 imported via the back.. it utilizes a combination of venturi effect for feeding and spring assisted feeding. In this case, he used an electric mag feeding system rather than a spring assisted to allow for higher capacity of ammunition.

here is the thread on the original direct feed bbmg design:
http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/bbmg-ai ... 16151.html

And this thread as well:
http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/co2-inf ... 20236.html

Anyways here is the link to the website with details of the gun:

here are some picture hijacked from the website:

Oh my god! I really have to get machine tools!

Builds like this is so amazing, it is so detailed and well built.

That's all my stunned mind have to say.

Good to see a gatling type airgun that actually functions, though of course other than "cool factor" you're not getting that much performance advantage over a normal BBMG. Yes, I'm jealous  :D

Good to see that someone knows that push to connect fittings are really useful :D

We now know that the rare JSR has feelings :P

As to the gun I am not so stunned anymore, I could not access the website where the gun is so I'll just have to ask.
What kind of pressure is it running at?

That gives me ideas, including doing a part time machining course.

Pretty, but how well does it function.

I can't see the page either, but these piccytars are quite nice.

By the way, you might want to resize the preview.

Very, very occasionally...

10 bar/145 psi, what the maker calls "high" pressure... pfft!

It has happened twice in this thread

But I will stop talking about you and ask another question, does it say anything on the rate of fire?
Im sorry to ask so much but I can't access the web site for some reason..

He claims over 10,000 rpm using this "ammo chute":

If it's only using one barrel at a time, that sounds a little optimistic...

edit: wait a minute, it has a single barrel and they don't actually spin!

Just a pretty BBMG then :)

Hi all!

WOW It's my project :D Thank you Davidvaini for this topic :)

Yes, it's a BBMG in Minigun style only - without spinning the barrels.

I've also made a classic BBMG in PVC using KANEDA'S STRAFER plans provided by Kaneda topic.

If you have any question, let's just say...

You can always put the real barrel down the center of the outer barrels and have the outers spin

@JSR
lol it took you a while to notice that :D
It's not exactly a BBMG - it's basically the same design as the one used on that gun with coiled tube used for magazine... ohh damn I can't find it right now...
oh well you know which one I am talkign about
