Here is my qev airsoft gun. The stock needs a lot of work and the whole thing needs a paint job. I still plan on putting a 1/2 inch pvc pipe over the barrel so that i can mount it to the stock better and have a better base for attachments. It's muzzle loading right now, but i plan on putting a spring loaded clip of some kind along the bottom and a detent. just thought i show you guys for some input before i go all out a finish it tomorrow

I am also having trouble getting more than one shot per charge of the air chamber. Anyone know why that is and how i can fix it. I have it charged to 150psi and it puts enough power behind a 12g 6mm pellet to go through a soda can. Its just that it drains the tank

thanks guys

Well using a QEV there is no reason for the valve to leave air in the chamber; once the valve opens it more-or-less stays open.

You can achieve semi-auto using a slide valve (there are several recent examples on this forum) but that means making your chamber smaller and being hooked up to a continuous air source.

how are you piloting? cant see any valve in the back of the qev.

you can do what wyzz did in his first few semi, a blow gun with a plug in the bottom to only vent a small bit of the pilot each time.

but for a air soft gun you should have just gone down the hammer valve route.
