The smaller the chamber, the more power, any size works, just don't make it huge.

The compressor is a Campbell/Hausfeld 2 gallon, 100psi. I got it from Harbor Freight for about $60usd. Thanks for the kind words. -Lp

If you want a tighter barrel, try PEX tubing...... you buy it by the toilet flexy hoses..... its a perfect fit and comes in 30 inch lengths. its good stuff........ kinda bendy tho if you want it straight you need to sheath it in somehting.

It's possible, you just need a regulator.

ho much psi on your air commpresser?

Well lukemc, I start off at 100psi, which drains VERY quickly. It's usually good for about 5-10 seconds of a nice ROF. I recently built an air tank which I pump up to 150psi and that allows me to shoot 4.5mm steel bb's quite effectively. The more air pressure you can put behind the 'cloud' the better, imho. Have fun! -Lp

Very nice! Looks like mine, except my barrel is crooked, it isn't painted, and it's held together with masking tape... Oh well, a guy can dream! Great gun.

i really don't like to ask for help but me and my friend just started making spudguns and uh i was making one today and it wouldn't fire. first i figured the barrel was to big ( well because looking at it it was) so then i replaced it with a smaller one. it still didn't work. and i checked the sparker, it was definitely making sparks. so what i thought was that there was to much leaking. and now for my dumb question. if theres a tiny hole in the chamber, does that stop it from going at all? also if the seal between the barrel and the chamber is not so tight, does that to a great bit of damage? my last question. after putting in fuel, do i need to wait a while to launch it? like by a while i mean like 30 seconds or so. hey whoa this was a long post. i just realized that. ok well if you'd like to help me, then respond
