Have you looked up the circuit diagram for your particular compressor make and model? always a good place to start ;)

now instead of a slide valve, would a blow gun work?

what do you mean, same power less pressure?

and what is your air chamber made off

a longer barrel allows the gasses from the chamber to expand more, thus releasing more energy to the projectile With a short barrel, the projectile is out the barrel before the gasses can expand completely thus wasting alot of that energy.

Also, please dont double post.

thanks, pneumatics is still relatively new to me...
and would a blow gun work instead of a slide valve

srry for double post ^^^

well yes and no. A blowgun would pilot the QEV, but they don't work in the same way. A slide valve has the air input running through it. When you slide it back, it cuts off air supply, and vents the QEV. when it is returned to rest, air fills the chamber.

you could vent it with a blowgun, but then you'd need to input the air somewhere else... Don't really see why you'd use one. Slide valve is much easier, not that expensive. I have two of these QEVs and slide valves, love them both.

Yes, it shows the schematic but no diagram and it is not clear because of this.

hELLO,
I am new here and I mostly joined because of this thread.

I think IF a spring plunger was added to the chamber, it could easily make the slide move rear-ward.

Also it could have a magazine, w/ attached sleeve to block the barrel.
That's all, Thanks.
Also I just joined here for THIS ONE...
I am working on something right now where it will be VERY usefull!!!
Thanks bro.s.
Oh, I don't really mean "bro's since I have four of them already, but thanks spuddy buddys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8)
P.S. I have some really cool ideas I'd like to share with you "folks" regarding two stages , recoiless, etc. thet I've been working on! :D

Connect it to a 9 volt battery and a switch.

Every time you want to fire, press the switch!

You want full auto, you'll need a more complex timer circuit, there have been plenty of threads with wyz/dewey banter on that recently.
