This is for firearms but it would be even easier for the softer materials that we tend to use for the barrels of pneumatic or combustion launchers.

I love this youtube channel, been a fan of it for a long time.
I wonder whether softer metals such as brass could be used to rifle a pvc barrel?

I've always wanted to re-purpose this method for rifling softer materials

I don't see why not, but then your projectiles would have to be even softer to bite into the rifling...
