3" Piston

You can make sheet pvc by heating pvc then flatening it.

Is there a how to anywhere on this?

Do you guys think i could use this 3in piston on a 2in barrel?

when you look at the diagram, it shows the barrel smaller than the inside of the piston, which is 2", so im assuming that the barrel is 1 1/2 inches, and appently the holes on the sealing face of the piston that alow the chamber to be filled need to be on the outside of the barrel, and if both the barrel and the inside of the piston is 2" then this wouldnt be possible. Any ideas on a piston for a 2" barrel because all the pistons iv seen are for 1 1/2 or smaller

alright, this looks like a great piston and im wondering what kind of housing you used/are planning to use. i.e. the size of pipe, or the size of tee

Oops, sorry for the necropost.

Didn't see any feedback on this so: a 3"coupler fits snugly inside 4" pipe. A little bit of lube inside the piston housing and the coupler moves freely. Should make a perfect piston body. Don't see why a 2" coupler couldn't be used for inside 3" pipe. The only thing I have noticed is some couplers have slight variances in their outer diameters. You would have to make sure you got one that fit snug inside the housing. I have 3 that I was testing. Only one fit correctly without being too loose or needing sanded slightly.

actually thanks so much, the 3in coupler fitting inside 4in pipe is handy info, i think il do that and then throw a 2 in brl on it. i find that whenever anyone figures out when 2 different pieces of pipe fit snugly together its hand to know
