The only problem would be attaching it to your barrel... maybe shave off the threads and epoxy in some home made bushing?

They will break. Someone put dry ice and hot water in one. About 5 seconds later it shattered violently, and took about half of his hand with it.
As long as you hydrostatically test it to 3 times its intended working pressure and it holds, it should be fine.

Polycarbonate has a tensile strength 9000 pounds per square inch, and can withstand sudden impacts of 5 foot-pounds per inch of thickness. That is why the manufacturers advertise the Bottles as "indestructible." The bottles aren't actually pressure rated though.

what size of sch40, sch40 is just a wall thick ness it should have a pressure rating on the size of the pipe. all sch40 pressure pipe is good under 200psi

Thats not completely off topic and random. Use the search button, there is a table somewhere. Look on the tube, it will say.

Anyways, back on topic. So the decision is that it would not be safe to use? What about in a hairspray comb. or prop. comb? Those only get up to about 80psi. I have heard.
