PVC sanding
Im sanding down this piece of pvc to go into a 2 tee there are size limits with what im doing so I cant just add a piece of pipe in between the tee and it. Will the be safe even with proppper solvent welding. Also this will no be holding pressure it is attached to the barrel.

If that is a 2" male adapter, and you are trying to sand it down to go into a 2" tee, it will never happen; by the time the OD of that piece is equal to the ID of one of the sockets of the tee, there will literally be nothing left. If its a fitting that is less than 2", then yeah, it should be possible and safe, as long as it experienced no sustained pressure.
If I understand right it will only have pressure applied when your valve has been opened. Unless your using extremely heavy and tight fitting ammo you should be fine.
I was thinking the sanding might do that Velocity. If anyone can show me a fitting that will fit in a 2 tee then adapt to 2 threads by all means please tell me.

so you want a 2 inch male solvent weld to a 2inch male threaded? BRB
EDIT: you will have to use this
2389K61 (mcmaster part number)
with a section of 2 inch pipe to connect the 2 inch female of the fitting to the female on the T. If you use a small enough section the T and then fitting should be flush with each other.

The one bigbob posted will work, they do not have that on mcmaster though.
And maniac, It would be about an inch annd a half longer than the fitting bigbob suggested.
