So as anyone who reads my posts knows, Im in the navy. Well we have life vests that contain glowsticks. For whatever reason they have expiration dates. I found the boxes for the 150 a year that have expired since '97... so yes 1650 glowsticks... That will be thrown away if not otherwise "disposed of"... well I have a new pneumatic, which I can put a 3/4" barrel on, which is the exact size of all the glowsticks!!!... tracer rounds anyone?

Since they have expiration dates, do they still light up as good?

@gtman some of the older ones dont light up as well, but they are a slightly different type, they have handles that cant be pulled off, but rather have to be cut. the normal looking ones had handles, but slip out of them with a little force, so i took a few(like 3) hours to remove them, all of them were thrown out already or Id post a pic...

Indeed nice tracer rounds!
Though shooting chemicals into the forest isnt really good for the environment opposing to spuds.

Happy glowing :D

I just bought some really small glow sticks and I'm gonna set my DLSR on 2 second shutter and get some night time rainbows.

glowsticks = environmentally friendly, otherwise I'd never be able to take them home if they were classified hazmat... navy standards and all...
