From what it appears, the setup fee is only charged once, because they only have to set the machine up once.so each one after the first would cost that original price minus the setup fee.

On the contrary, I would be surprised if you could go to a commercial machine shop and get your first part mocked up for that price.

It would be cool if they didn't want a $150 base for a part\prototype... You have to order 100 parts to get a decent price...

I'm lathing some rocket spindles myself anyway :o
