Where is the best place that I could get 3/4" sch 120 PVC, but NOT ONLINE?
I don't have credit cards, ect., only hard cash.

I do have a place called "pipeline plastics" nearby; it has a huge stockpile of PVC, but on their website they only list sch 40 and 80.

I also have the local Home Depot, Lowes, Ace's, ect.
Any recomendations?

I really don't know, doesn't even look like McMaster has it. Your guess is as good as mine.

Is it for a paintball barrel? If it is, 3/4" CPVC works great, and that is available at Home Depot.

Go with Pipeline Plastics. It is most likely that they don't have it on hand, but since you are near Philly I am sure there is a manufacturer close by that they can order it from. Tell them what it is for and make sure you ask for the specs of the pipe before they order it, to make sure they know exactly what you are looking for. (ID in particular)

You can buy a pre-paid credit card that you can use online by the way. I used one when I bought from BCARMS.

Yes, it is for the barrel of a paintball gun. I know CPVC works ok, and 1/2 sdr 21 works better, but 3/4 sch120 has the exact ID I need. I am going for accuracy and efficiency, and an exact ID will do that. Plus, the OD makes is able to sleeve into 1" sch 40 pvc, a must for a bolt. The pressure rating also helps.

Yes banks do sell them or you can use a debit card to buy it (if you have one)

Charter One bank sells prepaid cards, and i know this for a fact (ive gotten one)

Yesterday I called pipeline plastics, and asked them about the sch 120 pvc. They said they had none in stock but they could order some! In 2-3 weeks I will be down with some sch 120 3/4 pvc, .69" caliber, PERFECT for paintball. It was kinda expensive, at $ 1.49 per foot.

If anyone wants sch 120 PVC, this is the way to go. Has anyone else used sch 120 before, considering the rarity of the pipe?

I say it isn't worth it the pipe is so thick it sags really easy. If your going for accuracy, a barrel over 2.5' is too much.

Really? Wouldn't a thicker pipe be stiffer? I am sure thqt the extrq thickness would support the extrq weight.

what you could do Hailfire, is after sleaving the pipe you could also use some fitting that have been bored out to slide on the pipe (DWV would be fine). With that you could make a fream.

You could make a wooden/steel/plastic/whatever support. I would look like a regular gun If you understand.

Well, the gun is going to be as "bullpup" as I can make it, meaning the barrel starts at the stock. I was thinking of making it about 3-4 feet long, but only 2' would protrude from the gun, unsupported. Also, I was planning on partially sleeving the barrel (OD of 1.05") in 1" sch 40 pvc (ID 1.033") using a lathe, dremel, sander, grinder, or whatever to get it to fit.

The bolt is going to be made from the same material as the barrel, and with the 1" sleeve the gun will be very compact and clean looking.

If I do use that pipe alone as the bolt (without a larger extension around it like most bolts) the surface area would only be .4917" squared. If I run the gun at around 30 psi, that means roughly 15 pounds of forward force on the bolt. Will this be enough to actuate it? Am I better off using higher psi and lower volume?
