My recollection is that barrels of around 1" in internal diameter can have badminton shuttlecocks poked into them as long as you fold all the "feathers" in behind the head.
Great for testing people's badminton skills, firing shuttlecocks at them at most of the speed of sound...
By the way, I'm joking about that bit, don't fire at people.

"C" cell batteries fit perfectly. Making your own ammo out of 1" wooden dowel rod works very well too.

We don't need a thread for every barrel diameter. Just use the 2" one or add to the Ammo Ideas sticky in the construction/ammo section.
