Hey guys,

I'm almost finished building my ball valve actuated pneumatic and while I was looking for fittings (mostly poly riser but won't matter since Surface Area is really small)... Anyway I found a Poly Riser Tube 18mm ID and bought it, but now I'm worried about it exploding in my face with my pneumatic. Is it OK to use Poly Riser as my barrel? It has seams on the barrel which made me a little worried.

There are seams you can see that line along the reflection.

The barrel itself is 18mm ID and 600mm in length

P.S. DWV can that be used as a barrel? Btw my worry is that my spud or wet toilet paper will get jammed in the barrel causing it too go kablamo and schrapnel... I'm going to wear safety glasses when firing this thing.

Awesome! Now I know and can test out my ball valve gun tomorrow afternoon when epoxy resin drying has hit the 24hour mark.

Btw anyone know a good way to grease your PVC ball valve? I tried WD40 which made it smoother, but later on it got harder :(.

white lithium grease is good, in a similar spray can to wd40

White lithium grease? is that cheap? oh btw I didn't want to start another topic and I couldn't find any thing on spudfiles on the search button but do you know any good 18mm ammunition? cause I was going to use Wet toilet paper that's been drained out of water at first but I wanted somethign that could do some damage.

try to look around the house and find whatever fits perhaps?
Just a little common sense would need to be put to use.
