When used with a 2" rigid conduit barrel, these cans make a VERY satisfying metallic crack when they leave the bore. Of all the "off the shelf" ammo I've tried, these cans are the best fit for my pneumatic.

Quick and easy way to use them on your car (ha!) is to fill the EMPTY can with dry sand and then suberge them in water until the bubbles stop. The water adds mass and helps hold the sand into the can after being launched. If you don't wet the sand, the can ditches the sand when it spins (a bad trait of an evenly weighted projectile) and rapidly loses mass. You can see it decelerate faster as it loses more ballast. Looks a lot like the death throes of Mir and Columbia a few years back.

If you have a bench grinder, you can remove the top by grinding the rolled over lip off and pulling out the shiny aluminum circle. You can now fill it 1/4 full with mortar. This will result in better flight characteristics, but the overall can is too short to be tumble free.

And then there was the 50lbs of lead strips given to me by a plumber..... FYI: Lead has a lower melting point than aluminum cans, and is easily reduced to liquid form with a small propane torch. Heh heh heh.....

Anyway, two vids I have with RedBull cans. First is short and meaningless, if you slow it down enough the can shows for maybe two frames. The second vid has a dry sand filled can hitting 1/2" or so plywood.
