Quick epoxy question

Well in a build that will be used at 100 psi, occasionally 300 psi I have been so far using araldite "extra strength" epoxy. (stays very pliable for 1+ hour). Last night dad dropped a hammer on the tube and stuffed it completely.

For quickneses and easinesses sake, I'm considering the version that sets up in 5 minutes (epoxy). Much difference in strength? As in a comparison between the two..

Thanks

If you are using it in a pressure component then you would be best to stick with the High Strength epoxy. the 5min stuff dose not really give you a great deal of time to mix properly particularly if it is a warm day. It will probably do the job, but you would be much better of with the high strenght.

edit: You can get a much faster and better cure with the High Strength Epoxy if you keep it at a very warm temerature say about 50degrees C

I decided just to use high strength, thanks anyways.

There's plenty of time for it to cure, that's something you have to respect when using epoxy. I was more talking about things like clamping it/holding it. It's all sorted

thanks
