Did you try Lowes? All the crappy "[excrement] tubing" exists at Lowe's!

If not, try the yellow pages. I have found lots of things otherwise thought impossible to find there. SDR-21 is one thing. I am thinking they might help you. SDR pipe was found at an irrigation place. Try plumbing supply stores, or look under "pipe", (if you've got the REAL yellow pages). You have to actually make phone calls, to find out.

Once again, sorry if I came across as an ass. I wish you a good evening, as I am going to sleep now.

I'm glad you felt that you needed to kick up this thread to post a quote from the page the it's about. [Extreme Sarcasm!]

Please feel free to post when you have something useful to add!

ABS pipe can actually be bought pressure rated. It is a MUCH better alternative to pressure rated PVC, due to its failure characteristics. However, it is EXTREMELY rare (i was unable to find an internet reference), and it is much more expensive.

The guy on that website was probably only using combustions. Arguably, for combustions, solid wall DWV ABS is a better choice; though it is not pressure rated, it will not kill you the way PVC will if it explodes (sorry, dont know a better way to word it :P ).

Though, in pneumatics and hybrids, where sustained pressure is required, PVC is a better choice.
