i think it uses a diaphragm valve like most sprinkler valves, so once i purchase it ill see if i can possibly remove the solenoid and replace it with a plastic cap of some sort so that a blow gun can be installed

What's the flow on one of those?

The "ultimate valve", I believe, is a quick exhaust valve, (disregarding different sizes and piston valves), because they have a sort of rounded diaphragm which makes them extremely sensitive to piloting and quick to open. Also, when they open, they have more flow than other valves.

Nice going. Me and urban ninja use them sometimes (there called micro valves) You dont need to mod them, They open very fast.
