Odd question

anyone know the outer diameter of those plastic flim cans? I might use them for shot shells

i believe its around an inch in diameter. i was looking around my room for a film can but couldn't find one so this is just my mental estimate. find one and grab a ruler.

Yeah, thats the thing I have a bunch too but there at school in my photography class. I'll found a lot of 300. I'll just buy it and hope for a pipe they fit in.

hmmm the clear ones don't have that rib around the top. the lid is more of a plug that goes inside. How could I hold the can in place while I fire my gun?

wrap some tape around it, prefferable some paper tape.

I think he means how does he keep it from sliding into the chamber.
Put a screw through the back of the barrel to stop it and you shouldn't need to worry about it sliding out the front of the barrel unless you are shooting at a very low angle.
